Introduction to the Courses

Our focused but informal courses will give you enjoyment and fulfillment through your own personal achievement. We know you will look back afterwards and realise how far you have progressed in confidence and technique, whilst having a wonderful holiday in a beautiful country setting.

The tutors have especially designed their courses to challenge all ranges of ability. They will be using the stimulation of Sineu’s unique local environment that forms the backdrop to your stay, to enable you to quickly put your ideas to paper or canvas. You will receive both group instruction, and one-to-one attention, with all the sessions being held either in the house, or outside within the ancient market-town. There will be time for you to work on your own, or to get together in small groups to work (or go to the bar!).

The social side of the courses is very important too, and you will enjoy the house-party atmosphere and your time with like-minded people.

	2008 Course Dates
	Painting Courses 6 days/5 nights - total number on course 8 Townscape, including buildings and perspective June 4-9 & October 21-26 Countryside, including landscapes and flora June 21-26 & Oct 2-7 After the course, the tutor will be spending Day 6 in Palma visiting art galleries and painting. Those participants who would like to join in can do so at the additional day-rate below. Creative Writing Course 6 days/5 nights - total number on course 8 May 12-17 & September 22-27 The tutor will follow up after the course, with an hour’s session of on-line tutoring closing any issues that the course has raised.

	Additional days – are bookable before and after course (depending on availability) on a half-board basis with Room, Breakfast and Dinner - £90 per day for a couple sharing, and £75 for single occupancy.

	2008 Course Prices for Painting & Creative Writing Courses
	£640.00 per person The house is suited to couples – all accommodation is double beds – although we do not charge a single room supplement. Participating partner sharing room – additional £350 Non-participating partner sharing room - additional £200 A large range of activities are available to non-participating partners - we have route-maps for sightseeing, cycling (we’ve got bicycles) and walking, and for more specialised activities we recommend our travel partner Balearic Discovery (www.balearicdiscovery.com) who will make the arrangements.
